About Victory Surfaces
Three Decades in the Trade
Edward came to the United States in 1993 and started in construction with paint work. By 1996, he found his path in flooring - starting as a warranty repair technician for a well-known Houston company. For six years he learned the trade from the ground up, handling repairs and mastering installation techniques.
In 2002, Edward moved into field management, then became a division manager by 2005. Over the next 30 years, he ran multimillion-dollar flooring operations across Texas - 16 years in Houston, 7 in Austin, and 7 in San Antonio. He learned every aspect of the business, from installation standards to managing large teams and complex commercial projects.
Edward always had one goal: own his own business by age 50. As that milestone approached, he made the decision. In June 2025 he launched his company Victory Surfaces with his son Eddie Jr.
Today, Victory Surfaces brings 30 years of experience to every project - from residential remodels to custom builder work. Edward's approach is straightforward: communicate clearly, fix problems right the first time, and stand behind the work.

Built on Honest Work
Victory Surfaces operates on a simple principle: do the work right or don't do it at all.
Edward doesn't believe in cutting corners or putting bandages on problems. If he finds an issue during preparation - water damage, substrate problems, improper framing - he'll tell you what needs to be fixed before continuing. It's not fair to charge someone for work that's going to fail later.
Every job is treated like it's his own home. If the installation doesn't pass Edward's inspection, it doesn't pass. That standard comes from over 30 years of seeing what works and what doesn't.
Victory Surfaces is small by design. Edward and Eddie Jr. handle projects personally, maintaining quality control from estimate through final walkthrough. As the business grows, that hands-on approach won't change - it's what makes Victory Surfaces different from larger operations where you might never meet the owner.
